Surface Preparation: 1. Wire brush the surface to remove all loose, flaky rust. Do not brush down to bare metal - the Rust Converter product bonds best to a rusty surface. 2. Wipe away debris with a cloth, brush or air pressure. Ensure all grease and oil is completely removed from the surface, then rinse thoroughly. 3. Stir the product thoroughly until a smooth, even consistency is obtained.

Application: 1. Apply the product with a brush, roller, or sprayer, ensuring the metal surface is uniformly covered. 2. For spray application, dilute with up to 15% water to achieve a 0.5-1 mil dry film thickness.

Drying and Curing Time: - Allow the 2-in-1 converter & primer to dry completely for 48 hours before applying a top coat. - If no top coat is to be applied, a 2nd coat of the product may be applied before the first coat has dried, within 2 to 4 hours.
